carID2My brother and I happen to own a car shop where we do stuff from customizing parts to also altering things according to your specifications and all. And I have noticed that in the last years, the number of custom made things have really increased and the demand for it really increased too making this a sure profitable business for us. In these custom things, one of the easiest things to customize happens to be the rims and tires and for us, it is never a problem whatever car or whatever design is wanted as we have the backup of a very good site online called www.carid.com where we actually have the rims and tires of all the customized cars we work on made here and this is such a good and reliable site for these things. Prices are sure good and also, they have a good service in terms of the time it takes for them to deliver an order and this is crucial in businesses like these as there is a deadline for most of these works we do and to be provided with the materials in time is the best way to achieve these goals.

car_ID2I drive a range rover. It’s supposed to be a luxury car, but something about its predominant black color makes it look dull for me. When I first got it, I told myself that I will never let additional design be put to it. I mean, the black color appeals to me as serious yet classy. However, after more than a year of driving it, I now feel that it needs to look more exciting without losing its organic beauty. Of course, I did not want to go crazy over the design changes I wanted to make. Like I still think it crass to repaint it using a loud color (red, anyone? Or worse, neon pink?). Doing so would just remove the “soul” from a range rover, at least for me. So I did a little mental experiment of what added design should I give my car, a design that would still spell subtlety and elegance. I finally decided then to make use of chrome accessories. From a guy’s point of view, a chrome accessory is a nice contrast to the very masculine black the range rover boasts. Chrome adds that hint of “color” without overpowering the look of a range rover.

Cars are art

car_ID2Cars, for me, are not just cars. They are art. Some are masterpieces while some needs improvement, to put it kindly. I am sad to say that my car before belonged to the second category. It was an ok car that I had no choice but to love since it was the first car I bought with my blood and sweat. It is also impossible for me to afford a new car, anyway. So what I did, instead of sobbing over the fact that my car got ugly throughout the years, was to have it repaired. Since I wanted to bring back the glory days of car, I opted not just for a simple repair but aggressive re-designing. Now, I couldn’t be more satisfied.

What did I do? I bought auto accessories for my car. I got a new exhaust system, hid kit, grill guards, and rims. I know that is a bit too much but I had to do it out of my deep love for my car. It took the car shop around 1 month to install everything. It was torture to anticipate how my car would look like after that. It felt as though my car was being prepared for war or something. When I finally got it back, I was floored with how beautiful my car has become. I also had it repainted, by the way. The color, the new auto accessories, in other words the new look of my car, almost brought tears to my eyes.

Every time I drive my car around (to show it off mostly), it doesn’t fail to solicit stares of admiration from different people. A tourist even took a picture of it with herself so she could show it to her boyfriend in Japan. When something like that happens, I couldn’t help but feel proud and excited. Have I mentioned already how much I love my car?
